We estimate the Tempest, with about 275 total horsepower, to be able to dry one ton per hour at about $9-$20 per ton with a median range of $13-$15 per ton for digested solids. The reason for the range is the variable nature of the product itself. This is fairly cost-effective compared to other drying technologies, specifically those using gas-fired equipment.
